Our Whale Tale

Our plans to Canberra were foiled due to the school holidays. Tickets were way too pricey, and hotel availability was nonexistent. Our only choice was to stick it out amongst the crowds. Most of Scott’s co-workers took either the entire week off, or the last two. So Scott took Friday off for a family trip on the big blue pond – The South Pacific. It was advertised as a small tour boat, and assuming the pilgrims would be attending the Stations of the Cross event, how could we go wrong? Well, we did not factor in Pilgrims skipping out on events. We still had a crowd, but again managed. I first want to apologize for the video. The ocean was calm, but neither Scott nor I have sea legs. Zooming in on an object while standing on a boat was a bit difficult for us. Sit back, make sure you have taken your sea sickness pill, and take a ride out to the Australian waters for whale watching with the Womack’s.
