Here Come The Roosters

We are going for the full Aussie experience, so what better way to explore it than a rugby game! It was Family Day at the Sydney Football Stadium at Moore Park. There were all sorts of games and activities for the kids. They even had their mascot available for photos. A photographer handed us a card with information to check out the kids’ picture on the web. We thought for sure it would come with a massive price. Low and behold, the photo was free! The price of the kids tickets were a steal as well – free! And that was about it for all the cheap items. The price for a child’s size mock jersey - $130! It was shocking to see just how many youngsters were actually wearing those jerseys. (I have got to find out if there is a cheaper place to buy them.) We had NO clue about the game, but it wasn’t too hard to follow along. Mason really got into the game (watch the video). Morgan, on the other hand was too interested in making friends with the two Aussie boys sitting next to us, Sebastian (5 years old) and Christian (3 years old). All of us enjoyed the game, and if we have the chance, would like to see one more before we head home.
