Bridge Walk

Needless to say after our lunch, it was time to work it off. We walked through the Royal Botanical Gardens entering the back side of the Opera House. A quick bit of information to note about the gardens: If you are afraid of bats, DO NOT look up into the trees – hundreds of them. Our journey took us past The Rocks (We will take you there soon.), and up to the Cahill Walk. It is the pedestrian side of the Harbour Bridge facing the Opera House. (We planned to take photos from the opposite side facing Luna Park last night only to find out by some perturbed bikers we were breaking the law. The other side is for bicycles only. Not only will you receive a ticket for crossing there, but it a bit dangerous for the kids. There was a sign – small and posted pretty high in comparison to where someone would walk up the steps. We were just thankful to be stopped on the steps.) It was such a pleasant walk, and again something that is a must to do while in Sydney. So now we have crossed the bridge by taxi, city bus, city train, by foot, and all that is left to do is run on the actual bridge itself (September 21st – Family Fun Run)and the bridge climb (If we get the nerve to do it)!
