Thursday Night - Australian Family Night

This past Thursday, June 26th, we decided to go back to the Westfield Mall in Chatswood to witness for ourselves a late night at the mall. Wow – everyone was out and about. Families and friends having a great time shopping, eating, and watching local teens’ club break dancing and singing. It felt so alive and electric. What a huge difference from the night before – the food court was packed. Before we sat down to eat, we walked the mall a bit. The kids immediately found an indoor play area called “Soft Play”. Ready for this fellow Monkey Joe’s attendees! - One hour for a 6 and up year old - $10.50, $8.50 for Morgan’s age. Pretty steep when I’m used to paying $8 per child for the whole day. They did have a special though for Thursday nights - $7.50 for any age from 5 to 7:30. I think we might do that one of these Thursday nights. Also, walked into a Toys R Us – all of which were mostly toys from back home, but double the price. And for those coffee drinkers who love Starbucks – you could barely see the sign for it in the mall. It was tucked away I this small corner right next to a body waxing place. It was a lot of fun. We will definitely make Thursday night our family night out.

If you dont mind, I'd love to know how much a small coffee is at Star Bucks there. The prices of everything amazes me! Do people make more money over there?
