It looks like if you want to actually "cuddle" with a Koala bear, then you'll have to travel to the northern territories. In New South Wales, it's against the law since they can be dangerous with those sharp claws. They want almost $30 at the zoo to take your photo beside a live bear. I opted out at the Museum for the next best thing.
