Preparing for Our Six Month Journey

Two months ago, Scott received word regarding a possible job opportinuty in Sydney, Australia...

AND here we are. It still amazes me how his company tried hard to have us leave in a weeks time. It was a blessing for Scott to leave ahead of us (even though we missed him terribly) to scout out everything before hand. Between wrapping things up with Mason's and Morgan's schools, shopping, getting the house ready, and making sure we saw as many friends and family as possible, we needed all this time. On Wednesday of last week our AC unit broke! Thankfully we were here to take care of it. One of our most satisfying accomplishments on our prep list was actually getting BOTH cars in the garage. That was a three year project in the making. It looks like the majority of our preparations are done, and now it's off to pack those final items...
