We had the honor of The Dotson family coming to Orlando this weekend. Sean had his first triathlon of the season just around the corner from our home at Moss Park. It’s called the Wildman and rightly so. You would have to be wild, man, to swim in the lake at Moss Park. Once I took Mason there to play in the sand along the shoreline. Forgetting to dress him in swimming trunks, we improvised with tidy whities. Those white briefs turned into a nice shade of “iced tea”. It’s so murky, you can’t see the bottom or hardly your hand once you emerge it which also means you can’t see the gators hiding either. A few months ago someone’s dog became lunch. Yet, I’m thrilled to say Sean did just fine in the water, and just fine for the whole event! Way to go, Sean! You put me to shame!
We had a great time talking about running, biking, and swimming – pre and post racing meals in between cooing with Riley. She is such a cutie. Mason and Morgan predictably played tug-0-war with Max’s attention. Well, it was more like Mason telling Morgan to go away, but they still played quite well as a trio. Today we ventured out to IKEA and our favorite pizza place ever,
The Mellow Mushroom. YUMMY! If you have never been, you must! It was a great way to end our visit, and are looking forward to seeing them again real soon.
