Dotson Detour

Before heading home, we took a slight detour to Sarasota. We could not wait any longer to visit our dear friends, Sean, Cherry, Max, and the newest addition to their family – Riley! It was so good to catch up on everything going on in each other’s lives besides what we chat and banter with back in forth about on Facebook. (LOL!) And what a feast they had prepared for us – BBQ ribs, chicken and my personal favorite – strawberry shortcake! Thank you, Sean and Cherry, for an incredible post-race meal! The kids though were not interested in eating at all, well, except for Riley. She was definitely vocal on that subject. ;-) (We just adore her!) Even with hours of play, Mason and Morgan still protested when it was time to go. We promised them we would make another visit real soon, and then we were on our way home.
