Back in Session

Instead of blogging the first day, I thought I would wait to see how the first week went. As we all know, the first day of school is a piece of cake. The true test will be Tuesday morning when the kids realize it is for real. Plus we’ve got loads of extra activities in the afternoon now, so I was curious to see how my crew would handle it. Normally I run “Mom Solo” during the week, but thankfully Scott worked for home. It definitely made my job easier, and the kids were thrilled to see their dad each day after school. So, the burning question… How did the first week of school go?... Absolutely wonderful! They LOVE it, especially the first two afterschool activities of Hip Hop and Tumbling. Next week Morgan adds in Baton and both add music lessons – Mason will tackle the drums and Morgan, the piano. Believe it or not, but the next few weeks after that they will gradually add acting, running, flag football (Mason), and golf. I’ll keep you posted on how well they handle both school and the extracurricular activities. I sure hope I can keep up too!
