To be honest, I thought Morgan would get the first call. And apparently so did she. Morgan was very disappointed, but we assured our daughter she would get a turn one of these days. We were excited to find out the audition was with Mark Mullen, one of the top casting directors here in O-town. Since Scott was the calm and collective one for this occasion, I allowed him the pleasure of escorting our first born into the audition. One thing we had been told from the kids’ acting coach was not to bring any siblings along for the ride. So Morgan and I patiently waited out in the car while the process was going on. By the time I gave Morgan her Leap Pad toy and texted Scott to see how things were going, there to my surprise was Scott and Mason already walking back to the car. It only took about ten minutes for the entertainment interview. My first thought was that Mason had got cold feet. I quickly found out that was not the case! He LOVED the process, and asked when he could act again! We explained that he might not get this job, but there would be other opportunities. All Mason cared about was the chance to act again – even if it was just for another audition.

Good for Mason! And with your laid back attitude, this will no doubt be a fun, uplifting experience for your kids. And something to brag about later in life!!
