The teacher in me has popped out yet again. Between homework, chores, after school activities and practice time for those lessons, creating more time has been an issue. A new plan had to emerge. Today Mason and Morgan got their own personal organizer tied to the back of their bedroom door. With so many tasks to complete in a day, coming up with an easy, kid-friendly check list was crucial. Knowing I had a 50/50 chance of approval, I kept my fingers crossed as I closed their doors to explain the new “policy”. Thankfull

y they were excited about the new chart, especially seeing the smiley faces and green word “complete” when they turned the card over after each task.

Yes, I know… I keep creating OCD monsters, but honestly, my family does so much better when there is a routine and schedule. Some of you may remember the behavior chart I started earlier this year. We are still using it, and have seen progress with both children, especially with Mason. I know it has been a great tool in discovering when and why each child is having difficulties on a certain day. It has become a useful tool for all of us, and I hope this new chart will too.

that is the best idea! You truly are amazing! (I may need your help making some for my kids!)
You are so clever. I need you to come and organize my family!
I'll put in my order now...in two years I'll need two charts. You are incredible.
