No – not another pet or child. Just a lovable droid! Mason’s special item he picked from Hollywood Studios was none other than a R2D2 robot!!! We have seen them online anywhere from $280 to $150. Disney had them priced at $130. Between the $63 and $20 in cash he had received already from family, we felt compelled to help him out with the remaining sum. Would you believe the little robot was on sale for exactly $83! SOLD! Our family has been captivated by this special little droid. I personally love our R2D2 unit for two very specific reasons: 1. Seeing the joy, imagination and companionship he has already brought Mason and 2. Witnessing what I thought I wouldn’t see until Mason had kids of his own (you will just have to see the video!) Let’s just say Mason and R2D2 can be quite similar. LOL!
If you are able to add commands to R2D2, see if you can work out "Droid, vacuum the family room. Droid, clean up the dinner plates. Droid, make the beds." Now that would be the present that keeps on giving. I'd personally buy 2 of them.
* "Morgan, you need to get your brain into my brain!" - Mason (trying to order his sister around!)
* "Where is the whooshie tooter?" - Morgan (to Mason) * "How do you use the force?" - Mason (to Mommy)
* "Mommy, where is Daddy?" He is cleaning his room. (Without missing a beat and with a surprised face) "I didn't know that Daddy had toys too!" - Morgan
* I am not on your team! I am a princess fairy! - Morgan (to Mason)
* My new name is Walking Brain. - Mason
* Do you know those guys, the ones who wear makeup, but not girl make up, boy make up, with the black and the white... (referring to KISS) - Morgan
* (After coming from the garage) I check back and forth to see where the spiders are. They are like the cars and I am like the person walking across the street. I have to be careful. - Mason
* One of Morgan's classmates says, "I have been to Disney on Ice!" Morgan's reply, "Well, I have been to Disney on Land!" - Morgan
