While Mom went away to play, Mason set out on a mission to save the day… for a little caterpillar he named“Leafy”. My little Diego wanna-be created his very own "The Animals Rescue Center" complete with dirt, food, water and a marble for Leafy to enjoy. By the time I got home, Leafy looked like he needed to be released back into the wild. So I carefully explained to Mason the importance of getting his first patient back to his family. After saying our good-byes, Leafy went back into the wilderness. I’m so proud of you, Mason, for being such a thoughtful and caring person!
