That night I got to meet up with a friend I had not seen in at least 18 years, Chris Cotton. While living in Wauchula, FL and driving to Avon Park for community college, I worked for his mom at the Paso Fino Horse Association in Bowling Green as a data entry clerk. Chris would work at the office during the summer, and it was always so much fun when he was there. He also took me to my very first concert, Whitney Houston. I never forgot how motivated and determined he was to become an entertainment lawyer. It was very inspiring to see him strive and reach his goals. And that he did! He is exactly what he set out to be – working in LA for ten years, and now in Nashville for the time being. And I owe this wonderful reunion to facebook – for without it I would not have been able to reconnect. Thanks, Chris, for a great evening of fantastic Italian food, reminiscing on the past and catching up on the present. And you are still an inspiration! And a special thanks to Scott for distracting M & M so I could visit with Chris! (I truly appreciate that, My Love!)
