Go, Speed Racer, Go!

Our family cannot get enough of this gorgeous spring weather, especially Scott who has been dealing with a long winter in Baltimore. We could not miss the opportunity to enjoy this perfect day at the kids' favorite Disney park, THE Magic Kingdom. And what better way to experience spring than with fairies! Pixie Hollow was the first place we hit. There was a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. It is located in Toon Town’s big top tent. The attention to detail is amazing. Each fairy spends quality time with their guests. There is no rush, hence the long line. Yet I still recommend visiting Tink’s home.
My favorite ride of the day happened to be the one I normally dread. I’m not a big fan of the race cars, but Morgan made my day. Her “driving” skills with the steering wheel have vastly improved. The pure determination to beat her dad and brother surprised me. I literally had the pedal to the medal, but it wasn’t fast enough for our speed demon. We will have a very LONG talk with her regarding tickets when she earns her drivers license.

We ended the day spinning with the Mad Hatter. It’s a family favorite, or at least I thought. It was the first time Scott had control of the wheel, and let’s just say I now know where Morgan gets her need for speed. My head was spinning for the rest of the day. With more people pouring in around 1:00 PM, we decided to go home. It was a great family day!

You guys are SO lucky to have Disney in your backyard. Corena would LOVE Pixie Hollow. I personally am not a fan of the tea cups. And remember the driver pays the speeding tickets...their hard earned allowance down the drain b/c of a lead foot. Should do the trick when the time comes!
