Out of the two goals we have for 2010, I am happy to say that one of them is in full steam ahead!
(Still haven’t put together date nights yet.
Shame on ME!)
A good portion of our Craig List items have been sold, but we still have more to go.
Mason and Morgan’s preschool teacher, Mrs. Barretto, introduced us to one of the best painters in Central Florida – Mr. Terry Wheeler (her father).
And I am not kidding – he is THE best!
Amazing work and we highly recommend him.
Mr. Terry does all of the painting himself, has incredible attention to detail and is dedicated to having the job done right.
He says what he means, and means what he says!
Mr. Terry also painted M & M’s rooms.
Part of our rearranging plan includes switching the kids’ rooms around.
I have found that little girls seem to accumulate more clothes, shoes and toys than boys, hence why this switch is extremely necessary.
Mason was fine with getting the smaller room.
It was the “How many more nights do I have to sleep in a pink room?!” comment that made me realized how ready Mason was for the change.
Believe it or not, I – by myself (I kid you not) took apart Mason’s bed, moved it into his new room and put it back together.
I found out very quickly that I have a passion for power tools!
Due to the indoor painting, the house was a wreck.
I was OK with it the first couple of days, but then after that I was pulling out my hair.
It is hard to find what you need in the middle of a mess.
Thankfully we got through it, and thanks to IKEA and Wal-mart I was able to organize that mess back into their new closets and shelves.
I am still working on the final touches in each of their rooms and once it is complete, I promise to post pictures.
The next step is to fix the lawn.
Once that is complete, I will post photos of both the lawn and newly painted house.

I am seriously on pins AND needles to see the final results. I need some new ideas for the girls' room. The stuff is beginning to accumulate at an astounding rate.
