After 10 days of being home, it looks like we are finally starting some sort of a routine. It wasn't until yesterday that the kids and I started to feel a little bit normal. We went for days of waking up around noon or not until four in the afternoon. I know a lot of that was due to being sick. Now that we recovered from our illness, our body clocks are beginning to align with Orlando time. Yesterday we took the kids to their schools and register them. Today was their first day. It was like we had never left. So many welcoming, friendly, familar faces all gracing us with smiles and hugs. It was so nice, but yet so strange. For three months we were isolated and alone in Sydney. It was rare if anyone would look up at you let alone smile or talk to you. So, again - it was nice, strange, but am thankful to be back in our community. It has been a bit overwhelming as well, but everyone has been so patient, so kind. Thank you so much! We are so excited to have Mrs. Barretto as Morgan's preschool teacher. She was Mason's Pre-K teacher too, and she is absolutely wonderful! Mason's first grade teacher is Mrs. Haddad. We had the pleasure of knowing her when Mason was in Kindergarten since her room was next door and she is good friends with Ms. Heiselman, his teacher last year. Mrs. Haddad is expecting a baby boy this December (Congrats & Yeah!) She'll miss the first three months of next year, but will be back the last two to finish up the year. We are so thrilled to have such great teachers.

I am so happy you are home! Don't buy any uniforms for Morgan- I have plenty from Avery from kindergarten last year. We just got back from Seattle (we've been gone for 2 weeks). I am so happy you are home! I have jet lag from our trip and we only had a three hour time difference so I can only imagine what it's been like for you! Talk to you soon! Love you!
