Eight is Great!

I can’t believe our first born is now 8 years old. I still remember first moving in our home here in Orlando when he was just turned three. Where does the time go? His birthday weekend started off on Friday with his class birthday party filled with Indiana Jones cup cakes and juice.



Today we spent it running around as usual – Tap in the morning and golf in the afternoon, but every couple of hours we would open a present from a family member, take pictures and then post it on facebook so they would feel as if they were with the birthday boy too. As a birthday tradition, it is customary for the honoree to select lunch and dinner locations. It was NO surprise that our boy had pizza on the brain – California Pizza Company and Mellow Mushroom. Our big gift to Mason was an erector set. The best part of it to me was watching Scott and Mason working together – lots of male bonding and grunting going on! LOL! Happy 8^th, My Big Man! Very proud of you! We LOVE you, Mason!
