M & M's Car Conversation about the Difference between Guitar Hero and Hannah Montana

I would normally post this on the quote section of the blog, but had too much to write. We take turns in the car - each family member can choose whether to listen to the radio, a CD, or watch a movie. I won out today with jamming to my favorite Classic Rock station. "Barracuda" by Heart came on and the kids went wild. They called it the Guitar Hero song (any song they recognize from the game is called that.) Mason went in lengthy detail on how he was going to learn how to play the guitar (and doing this with Guitar Hero) so he can travel the world and go crazy. Morgan chimes in to say how she is going to be Hannah Montana when she grows up (scary to think if that was true - that's in what - ten years!). Mason immediately says, "Hannah Montana's songs are really easy. They are like three notes. Guitar Hero songs are much harder with so many notes. " It took everything for me NOT to laugh, but I was impressed that he could tell the difference between serious rock music and pop. (That's our boy, Scott!) Morgan actually agreed with her brother, but still wants to take Miley Cyrus's job one day.
